A simple 1-axis controller incorporates push buttons to select forward and reverse rotation, and a potentiometer to vary the table speed from 0 to 5 rpm, and for inching.

Final positioning of the table will be achieved manually by a handwheel fitted to the end of the motor. Angular position axis is indicated on a Heidehain ND281 B display unit.
