S&W's 4-lobed clamping knobs are machined from solid extruded aluminum stock. After machining, the knobs are tumble-polished and anodized. The star shape with deep lobes makes it easy to apply high clamping torque with one hand. They are available with a reamed, tapped or solid hub or as an assembly with stud.
