SAFI has also developed over the years and with the experience of its owner Fiorenzo Sartor, a department exclusively dedicated to special machines and particular installations for construction and maintenance of dams, nuclear plants, petrochemical plants, bridges, monuments, galleries, etc..

Among these special applications the Tunnel Platform TST 500 is used primarily for cladding works and insulation in new built tunnels and maintenance of older tunnels allowing normal traffic flow.

TST 500 is a unique machine and SAFI is practically one of the few companies in the world to have designed and built this type of platform.
