CADU - Cool Air Distribution Unit The new CADU or Cool Air Distribution Unit gets the most out of your existing cooling system. This air distribution unit is fitted to the two bottom units on 19” racks. The CADU system takes the cool air from low down and moves it higher up to the front, where equipment in operation needs cool air to work efficiently. FANS DOOR Unit The new ARCTIC DOOR FAN MODULE system allows scalability depending on cooling requirements as the equipment inside the rack is expanded. The system consists of a base plate fitted to any ARCTIC ventilation door. This plate is the support for the scaleable installation of easy-to-fit fan modules. These modules take out the hot air inside the rack. The system monitors the temperature by means of a digital 2-fase thermostat that also helps to minimise power consumption, as modules are divided in two switch lines. HTRD (High Thermal Removal Door) The HTRD system takes the hot air out of the rack in three possible ways: straight into the room, connected to the false ceiling via a duct branch or connected to the room's ventilation ducts. The door features three self regulated turbines, interchangable from outside of the door and quick to fit. COOL UNIT - Server racks cooling system COOL UNIT is a compact module that can be attached to the side of any ARCTIC Server rack 42U & 47U. COOL UNIT is designed to absorb the heat from the back of the rack, cool and blow it again to the front, where there are the cool air intakes of the different equipment installed. Designed not to interfere with the useful space on the rack, by fitting 100mm expansion frames on the front and back.
