Sakai's unique, quick-folding hopper is hydraulically folded in two steps. The large-capacity hopper makes the PT250 and PT310 adaptable to large-size dump trucks, boosting work efficiency.

The 2-point suspension for the extension screed guide rod minimizes unfavorable horizontal and lateral movement.
This feature shortens the time required to match the levels of the main screed and extensions.
Furthermore, the extension on each side is symmetrically positioned to the machine, thereby improves paving smoothness.

- Multi-purpose safety switch ensures safe, efficient work
Starting and stopping of the machine and its working equipment is controlled by an easy-to-operate safety switch.
The resumption of paving is simply accomplished via a safety switch after interruptions that occur while waiting for the asphalt mix truck.

- Standard pivot cylinders for quick thickness adjustment
The adjustment of paving thickness can be made instantaneously by operating pivot cylinder switches, greatly increasing work efficiency. A switch is conveniently located on each side of the machine.
