The HG 2400 Gear Centre is specifically designed for the highly efficient production of geared workpieces up to 2,400 mm in outside diameter. The modular construction principle allows to configure exactly the machine which is required for your particular manufacturing task.
The base elements of the HG 2400 are made of polymer cast with excellent vibration dampening and thermal characteristics. Its moving tool column allows for an unmatched tool shift travel as well as an easy and fast head, spindle or tool change. Currently the HG 2400 is available with 2 optional tool heads for milling and hobbing or profile and generating grinding. Additionally the hob head can be fitted with a modular turn-mill spindle which allows to create a 5th axis for turn-milling operations.
