MECANO Motion is a solver dedicated the analysis of flexible mechanisms.

MECANO Motion software is designed for numerical simulation of plane or 3-D flexible articulated systems. It is based on the finite-element concept and therefore accounts for strain effects within body elements. It allows to process the following physical problems:
Kinematic Analysis: Calculation of displacements, velocities and accelerations associated with the prescribed motion of driving degrees of freedom ;
Static or Kineto-Static Analysis: Calculation of forces in the given configuration, calculation of incremental static loading ;
Kineto-Dynamic Response: Determination of the motion and stresses within an articulated mechanism subjected to either given time dependent stresses or time variation of certain angles and/or driving displacements.
