To machine long deep slots effectively and efficiently chip evacuation is of the utmost importance. The CoroMill® 331 cutter is optimized for this purpose and adjustable to a narrow tolerance, with positve inserts for light cutting and excellent surface finish.

A milling cutter with many teeth is unbeatable for shallow and narrow slots. The CoroMill 327 and 328 are perfect for the most common shape of slots.

Slots need long reach, up to 3-5 x diameter, the CoroMill 390 tools with integrated dampening are designed with this in mind, providing increased metal removal rate and improved surface finish.
