EasyFix sleeves are a solution for cylindrical boring bars reducing set-up time. A spring plunger mounted in the sleeve clicks into a groove in the bar to guarantee the correct centre height. The slot in the cylindrical sleeve is metallic sealed which allows the existing coolant supply system to be used. The metallic sealing offers good performance also for high coolant pressure. Application The EasyFix sleeves fit a wide range of products: CoroTurn® 107 CoroTurn® 111 Silent Tools damped boring bars CoroCut® MB CoroCut® QI CoroCut® 1-2 Do not use EasyFix sleeves for boring bars with flats, as you won’t attain the advantage of finding the correct centre height of the bar without the groove. A bar with flats normally clamps with screws from the top and locates on the flats of the bar.
