Case Description
The main technical challenge with this product is to be able to supply a quality discs that will include a thickness control and a high quality standard on the cutting edge. Even though the product has a quite simple geometry, the thickness of the carbide discs together with the final edge on the cutting discs make it a critical parameter. Sandvik has been applying an automoted pressing process that eleminated any fine cracks on the pressing.
