Stainless steel profiles are widely used for decorations and technical applications, some examples are watch bracelets, mixer blades and other household appliances where the profile is an integrated part of the design and emphasise the function and decorative appearance. Within technical applications we can find profiles in filters and in applications where specific functions is built in the profile. In many cases this means to save costly production processes by using profiles. Profiles are very often developed together with a customer and therefore leads to a confidential customer specification.
A specific area is profiles for implants i.e. bone plates which are produced in stainless steels with special properties and in accordance with international standards. Profiles are also produced in many different alloys.
