The generous dimensions of the beds and die space between the uprights (see structural analysis), ensure a high degree of application flexibility, especially in the use of progressive dies. The evolution of this type of press has also been generated by the use of drives, production islands and other technical arrangements designed to feed and rapidly replace dies and products.
