The VGT is a cam driven variable feed for broad material. It is based on the idea of gripping the left and right edges of materials using two gripper feeds, in order to feed wide material. The two gripper feeds are placed so as to grip both edges of wide material in a firm and yet soft manner and then synchronize the feed motion. This advanced model in the VG series incorporates individual adjusts to the feed length, material thickness, and grip force, so that precise straight feeds not possible in a conventional roll driven system can be performed here while significantly improving the squareness of the material in the direction of feed to the die.
