Excellent Discharge Characteristics Allow for Performance at -20¾C
Older lithium polymer batteries display weak load and temperature characteristics. SANYO's newly developed gel-type polymer electrolyte possesses a high ion conductivity even at low temperatures, making discharges at -20¾C a walk in the park.

SANYO was able to make a highly leak-resistant battery under 4mm thick by taking advantage of the gel electrolyte's unique charateristics.
