Spacial 3D.ATEX enclosure
The new "ATEX European Directive", relating to equipment used in explosive, gas or dust-laden atmospheres imposes significant improvements in safety of persons and equipment in chemicals,
refining, flour-milling, grain storage, etc. From 1st July 2003, only those products that meet the requirements of this directive can be marketed and installed.
* The Spacial 3D.ATEX enclosure range is ATEX approved by the LCIE under
reference number 02 ATEX 0037 U.
* Enclosures carry double marking:
- new approach: 00 81 Ex II 2 G/D,
- additional marking according to
EN 50014 and EN 50019 stadards: EEx e II.

* Sheet steel enclosure.
* Degree of protection: IP66.
* Ambient temperature maximum permissible range -25°C to +40°C.
* External mechanical impact resistance: IK 10.
* Textured epoxy polyester powder paint finish, colour grey RAL 7032.
* Enclosures are fitted with 4 shouldered M8x25 backstuds for chassis attachment..
* Polyurethane seal.
* Compared to the Spacial 3D universal enclosure, the Spacial 3D.ATEX enclosure offers:
- 4 fixing holes fitted with 4 crimped blind nuts,
- crimped blind nut for external earth connection (earthing braid not supplied).
