The SBS In-Spindle Pin Type acoustic sensor for grinding machines can be used for gap elimination (first contact detection), dressing cycle monitoring & process control. This sensor is a rigid, single-piece product, designed to minimise mounting bore size to a tiny 4mm diameter - perfect for installing inside small rotary diamond dresser units. The sensor comes in various lengths to suit different rotary dresser models. Bespoke lengths can be provided for diamond dresser manufacturers to suit their spindle designs.
