EPSIMETAL, SCAIME’s miniature strain sensor is available either with a high level output signal or with a direct strain gage output. Thanks to a patented mechanical device, installation and removing are made very easy, by means of screws or gluing, and the strain measurement is possible, from very low stresses up to 1000µm/m.
The amplified output version allows, by means of digital adjustment:
- Temperature compensation.
- Adjustable measurement range.
A watertight version is also available.
This is a perfect tool for load and force measurement or monitoring on existing structures and machines.
EPSIMETAL, used with EPSITRAC, offers a specially designed solution for the monitoring of molding equipment and industrial presses. It allows the measurement of tie bar stresses on professional die casting or plastic molding machines, or hydraulic presses. Periodic adjustment, as well as monitoring, is possible, with transportable or permanent installation.
