Intrinsically safe multifunction calibrator SCANDURA FEM
Lower uncertainty for the B-20IS: now 0.025% f.s.
Scandura R&D centre has released the new version of its multifunction multivariable calibrator, series B-20 with uncertainty better of 0,025% f.s.. This value embeds Linearity, Repeatability, Hysteresis and Uncertainty of the Master Reference, with a Level of Confidence close to 95%.
This new development makes the B20 the most accurate portable multifunction multivariable calibrator on the market. Available in both standard and intrinsically safe versions.
A specific version has been improved to satisfy the specific requirements of the gas plant operators. The improvements embedded started from a detailed study led at the laboratories of an international gas company, which have underlined some requirements specifically tied to the gas field.
Major improvements concern:
•special metal case;
•all the connectors have been placed on the front panel (external transducer and connectors – RS232 – battery recharger etc.);
•new absolute pressure transducers (internal and external).
•possibility to use the instrument in extreme environmental conditions without any risk of damaging due to water infiltration, mud and dust.
