The high pressure control valve from SchuF (Model 74MS) is specifically designed to to let down high pressure in several successive stages and thereby avoid cavitation. The valves are generally installed in severe service such as hydrocracking, PTA production, heavy oil upgrading, autoclave letdown, or liquefaction. the valves are characterised by a high Cv value, true equal % characteristics, staged pressure reduction with up to 6 disc levels, and easy to replace severe service trim.
