SchuF invented the Lift Plug Valve in 1914. Since then, it has delivered plug valves to the Chemical, Refinery, Delayed Coking, Polymer, Cement, Mining and Power industries.

Lift Plug valves as suitable for a variety of applications such as isolation, or switching where the medium is highly abrasive, or operating conditions are severe - such as very high temperatures.

SchuF produces a special range of lift plug valves for the coking industry - the IsoPlug and SwitchPlug range.
