Description

Schurter thermal-magnetic TM12 circuit breaker for equipment (CBE) is a single-pole device giving a small size, economical and trustworthy trip-free operation for protecting circuit control functions in sensitive instruments etc. Designed to open the contacts in overloads and short circuits within the maximum interrupting capacity, TM12 is not usually not suited for line protection except when the prospective short circuit current is less than 200 A at 240 V a.c. (400 A at 28 V d.c.). A bimetal strip, heated by the overcurrent and deflects, releases the latch mechanism.

TM12 is available with threaded neck and flange mounting types, each with optional push on/push off funcationality, shunt terminal and auxiliary contact. Certain types also provide screw clamp terminal choices. TM12 has UL, CSA, VDE and other approvals.
