With the 305 trend Schütte has put together a highly economical package for the resharpening and dressing of cutting tools. The machine is characterised by the high technological standard of the whole of the 305 series and optimised for the resharpening of tools.
The range of tool geometries that can be machined with the 305 trend corresponds with that of the standard 305. Fully automatic execution of the most diverse resharpening operations is made more economical by the advantageously priced 305 trend.

The 305 trend features an integrated chain-type loader with 50 workpiece magazine locations. The workpieces are held in a multi-range chuck, which allows not only for the machining of a great variety of tools, such as drills, milling cutters, stepped tools, etc., it also accommodates different shank diameters when machining in “Mixed” mode. The SIGS software developed by Schütte helps simplify allocation and machining of the tools held in the chain loader.

The machining process is supported by a storage unit that accommodates three grinding wheel sets including appropriate coolant distributor nozzles. As on all machines of the 305 series, the nozzles are changed together with the grinding wheels. This ensures that they are always directed at the exact cutting position.
