The 305 linear is equipped with direct drives in all five axes and is suitable for the usual tool grinding operations as well as for pendulum grinding. The machine employs linear motor technology that offers excellent dynamics and outstanding speeds. These are factors that make multi-axes, linear CNC grinding a highly productive process.
The advantages are obvious. A generation of ever more demanding profiles no longer needs to be machined with expensive profile grinding wheels. The high cost of these wheels makes the process especially uneconomical for smaller batch sizes. A lot more advantageous and also more flexible is the linear, multi-axis CNC grinding with simple wheel contours on the 305 linear.

Demanding components can be economically complete-machined. The use of a grinding wheel changer with five magazine locations in particular, will introduce great flexibility to the process.
