Suitable for use on CNC machines with rigid tapping cycles. This enables tapping to be carried out without the use of tension and compression tap chucks. Since the tension and compression feature is excluded the 21080 series are both smaller and more economical to produce. By using the normal tap adapters the taps are provided with slight radial play to improve tapping accuracy. For difficult materials the friction drive adapters with chucks 32000 series can also be used.
