Binder sprayer
Fibersealer series
SECMAIR
The FIBSEAL are the first techniques to successfully respond to cracking defects in wearing courses subjected to cold weather.
Glass fibre is characterised:
* BY ITS TENSILE STRENGTH and by its adhesion with bitumen (they need to be very fond of each other)
* BY ITS LENGTH (E.g. 12 centimetres)
* BY ITS WEIGHT per unit of surface (E.g. 100 grams per m²).
Integrated into the composition of a layer, glass fibre provides very high tensile strength. The fibres have a function very similar to that of the steel in a reinforced concrete beam subjected to a load.
