Seco® R220.90 is a square shoulder mill for heavy duty operations and large depth of cuts. Application areas are harder steels, stainless steels and cast iron.
The R220.90 tool is designed to produce a very stable cut even though it has a positive geometry and a rigid cutter. It handles operations that require a large overhang and can also be used for turn milling. A good surface finish can be obtained due to the wide wiper flat on the insert.
