Plasma Arc Melting (PAM) furnaces are produced in cooperation with Retech Systems LLC, which is the industry leader in the production of this type of equipment. PAM offers customers the ability to improve the properties of conventional alloys, as well as the potential for developing and producing new complex alloys.
The PAM system utilises an arc in a non-reactive gas, as a heat source and is applied to the melting or reactive and refractory metals. Is also qualified for the production of rotating grade Titanium.
SECO/WARWICK offers PAM furnaces in capacities ranging from laboratory to production scale units, powder production, cold refining (single or multiple hearths) and single torch systems for scrap consolidation.
