It consists in a screw, rotating inside a U - section trough, connected to compactor and de-watering modulus: this allows to reduce both the volume and the weight of the screenings (depending on the nature of the screening, up to 35-40 % reduction in weight can be achieved)
MANUFACTURING FEATURES
* screw: It can be made of high strength carbon steel or Aisi 304/316 Stainless steel
* Trough: usually made of Aisi 304/316 stainless steel; coated with HDPE protection or provided with sliding bars
* Length: the maximum length can reach 12 m, depending on the diameter of the screw
