The mechanical air flow meter checks fans directly through measuring air flow. It has a bi-directional switch which reacts on blowed and sucked air. This switch recognizes whether the fan is blocked or defective. The air flow monitor can be used with AC and DC. It needs no power supply and can switch small loads directly.
