Firmware supports an array of character sets and fonts, error indications, and bar code formats that are printable horizontally or vertically.

The MPU-L465 features EZ-OP clamshell paper loading and USB, RS-232C, and Bluetooth communication port alternatives. Available accessories include a convenient shoulder strap, battery pack, belt clip, quick charger, and plug-in AC adapter. A rugged, ethylene vinyl acetate and poly-urethane foam case secured by a heavy duty Velcro® strip is available to protect the printer from impact.
