Seitron Srl, a company that manufactures and sells electronic equipment for regulation, measurement and control, has expanded its range of BEAGLE explosive gas detectors -- complete single-zone detectors for domestic use.
Beagle is currently available in two versions: for methane (natural gas) and for LPG (liquefied petroleum gas).
Both detectors run on 230V AC, are equipped with a sensor having a 5-year service life, SPDT relay output (5A) controlling a 230V AC powered solenoid valve for cutting the gas flow, 85 dB acoustic alarm, coloured status LEDs (green: working, yellow: failure, red: alarm) and comply with standard UNI CEI EN 50194.
Beagle natural gas and LPG detectors are also provided with a self-test button: pressing the button for at least 1 second verifies the operation of the device and of the cut-off valve. Beagle is flexible: several devices can be interconnected to simultaneously control different rooms and actuate either normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) solenoid valves.
Special care has also been given to the design of the casing: elegant and compact (117 x 85 x 38 mm), it fits in perfectly with any style of home décor.
