Digital Drives
Selca supplies complete digital packages composed of CNC, motors and drives.
The digital drives supplied by Selca are produced directly by Dr. JOHANNES HEIDENHAIN.
They have been designed for the high-speed milling applications where the high dynamic and the position control precision are basic and guarantee a very high axis dynamic answer and a precise speed control.
The COMPACT configuration foresees:
- a regenerative or non-regenerative power supply and four power modules are contained in a single unit
- an external braking resistor module for the non-regenerative models
- a commutating reactor and a line filter for the regenerative models
The MODULAR configuration foresees:
- regenerative or non-regenerative power supplies
- single-axis and double-axes power modules
- an external braking resistor for the non-regenerative models
- a commutating reactor and a line filter for the regenerative models
- an optional emergency braking module for the regenerative modules
The S4000 CNCs are supplied in DH version when they have to manage HEIDENHAIN digital drives and standard motors and in DDH version in case of HEIDENHAIN digital drives and linear and torque motors. The CNC configuration includes a single axis and spindle regulation module that, according to the number of managed axes, can be:
- up to 6 axes (MCB6 in DH version - DCB6 in DDH version)
- up to 8 axes (DCB8 in DDH version)
- up to 10 axes (MCB10 in DH version - DCB10 in DDH version)
- up to 12 axes (DCB12 in DDH version)
