The LISST-StreamSide is a new product developed for applications such as sediment monitoring in shallow streams and rivers, storm runoff, or as an in-line instrument system.

The LISST-StreamSide is based on the same laser diffraction principle as the LISST-series instruments. However, due to the typically higher sediment concentrations encountered in these environments, the instrument uses a short optical path of 5 mm. As a result, the working range of sediment concentrations reaches to about 2,000 mg/l (depending on grain size).
