The key remains trapped while the access point is open and until the striker plate is reinserted into the lock. Depending on the type of interlocking required, you can have one or two cylinders but always a single striker plate.
Doorlocks can be fixed either from cylinder side or from the opposite side of the cylinder. For fixing, we strongly advise not to " re-drill " the fixing holes and to use fixing elements not exceeding Ø 5mm and with maximum torque value of 5 Nm.
Different types of striker plate are available depending on the equipment to be fitted. Striker plates can be nserted into the lock cylinder-side or on the side opposite the cylinder.
