Modular DR motor system
The new modular system of asynchronous AC motors from SEW-EURODRIVE is a development based on the well-established DT/DV motor series. The new DR series AC motors combines the entire range of required motor efficiency levels including NEMA Premium® energy efficient motors, making it a modern innovation of the highest quality.
In 2002, SEW-EURODRIVE became the first company to successfully use die-cast copper technology in an industrial high-volume production process for manufacturing energy efficient motors. The modular DR motor system from SEW-EURODRIVE offers three different brake sizes per motor size and as cost-optimized encoders integrated in the motor.
All other additional features of the new DR series are available in all energy efficiency levels.
