The 483 series, which are manufactured by Sferaco, are flange gate valves. It is ideal to be used in applications that deal with steam, high pressures, and in the petroleum industry. It is capable of handling pressure of up to 200 bars at 20 °C. The unit is constructed out of carbon steel, and features a minimized bore, and an elevating rotating stem.
