Some of our scan heads are built to scan a large area, while others scan smaller areas with greater accuracy. If you have a large range of desired resolutions, or if you wish to scan objects of widely varying sizes, you can purchase additional scan heads and swap them at any time, thanks to their modular design. Note that ShapeGrabber 3D scanning heads are designed to work exclusively with ShapeGrabber scanners, and are not intended to be used independently.
