Wance presents melt flow indexer. It is a highly accurate melt testing device for measuring melt flow rate (MFR)/(MI) or melt volume rate (MVR). It is used mainly in quality control and research. This indexer is compliant with ISO1133, ASTM D1238, ASTM D3364, BS2782, DIN53735, and JIS K7210 standards. It has two digital display control panels. Buttons are membrane-covered. These features allow easy touching, user-friendly operation and real-time display of data. It allows pre-selecting the test method (MFR/MVR) through the control panel. Also it allows conduction of tests automatically as preset program. During the entire test process, the coming end of every test step is alarmed with a friendly prompt by hum. The AL808 temperature control system comprises of two groups of platinum resistor temperature transducers. Only one of the two is needed, and the other serves as a spare part. This improves dependability. Temperature adjustment and compensation of temperature influence is done by a PID algorithm.
