Born from G.R.E.T.H.A. (Gear Related External Teeth Tool Honing Application) project in cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering at Turin Polytechnic University, this machine represents the latest frontier of post-hardening fine finishing.
The "mission" of Grono 250 is to keep the advantages of Raso range in honing: constructive simplicity and use practicalness, which mean a lower initial investment together with lower exercise costs in the production process for the Final User.
The main characteristics of Grono 250 are the following:
- External toothing honing wheel design;
- Easy accessibility for maintenance and operations;
- Vertical workpiece axis for an easier link to automation;
- Main machining axes operated by direct-drive motors;
- Workpiece/tool synchronization;
- Honing wheel axis and workpiece axis operated by electrospindles;
