Extractive process gas analysis is characterized by the fact that a sample is extracted from the process line and conveyed to the analyzer. Typically, the sample is extracted by a probe, then transported through a sample line and conditioned before being processed to the analyzer.

Siemens has integrated numerous extractive analytical methods in the series 6 analyzers family with a modular and consistent housing and operating concept. Each of the analyzers is thereby a class of its own:

IR-active components: ULTRAMAT 6 and ULTRAMAT 23
IR-active components and Oxygen
Oxygen: OXYMAT 6 and OXYMAT 61 and OXYMAT 64
