Description
SIMEAS R is a multifunctional recorder for use in substations and industrial plants. It provides the following functions:
Fault recorder for analog and binary channels for recording current and voltage curves in the event of a short-circuit in a substation. Additional information is measured and recorded concurrently, for example, circuit-breaker and disconnector positions
Power and frequency recorder for registering the power balance and frequency stability in power plants and substations
Mean value recorder for registering the long-term progression of measured values, such as rms voltage and current, active power, reactive power, current and voltage harmonic, power factor, frequency, positive and negative sequence systems, and total harmonic factor
Power quality recorder for detecting voltage dips and flicker in power systems
Event recorder for switching operations and other status information, such as indications and commands from protection equipment. This function enables the SIMEAS R to be used as a paperless alternative to conventional recorders
