SiLibeads are used in various industries and many other areas of application. In the paint- and coatings industry for example, the SiLibeads made of glass are used as grinding media in most conventional milling systems. However, there are many other applications, e. g. the chemical industry, pest control, etc. The reflection beads for road marking, to improve the visibility at night, should be highlighted. High precision glass beads are used in pharmaceuticals. The food industry is in need of glass balls for bottle closures. In the mechanical engineering, glass beads are used for ball bearings and for valves.
