The correct detection of process relevant measured values is an essential condition in the production of industrial goods because deviations lead to wrong process parameters, which may adversely affect the product quality. Precise measurement requires the use of precision measuring instruments and sensors. This is achieved by regular inspection and calibration of the sensors built-in the process.

They are equipped with a temperature controller which is based on an entirely new operating principle. In contrast to the functioning of conventional calibrators, the characteristics of the device to be tested are virtually modeled in the new TP 3M 165 E2. By using a special control algorithm, a considerable shorter duration of calibration and a temperature stability in the millikelvin range, which is unique with portable calibrators, is achieved.
