DESCRIPTION
The Model 2235-BLK is meant to be screwed down to your mounting surface using its included #10-32 captive
screw. Once it has been secured to your mounting surface, any of Silicon Designs’ single axis accelerometer
modules can then be screwed attached to the block using two of the included #4-40 screws. This mounting
method is useful for applications in which a #10-32 hole already exists in your mounting surface. Alternatively,
the 2235-BLK can be glued down to your mounting surface. The block is precision machined from 6061-T6
aluminum and has a black anodized finish. Its low mass is achieved by the strategic location of mass reduction
holes. Both the captive screw and the #4-40 black oxide finish fasteners are stainless steel for corrosion
resistance.
