Silmax, after a long and exhaustive cutting test run in our R&D Dptm. has developed a new Hm Alu line for high performance machining of Aluminum and its Alloys. It includes Z=2 and Z=3 cutters, with square end, with Corner Radius or Ball nosed too.
The geometry of these tools, referred to the cutting angles as well as to the shape of the flutes, have been expressively developed to provide high performances, the best chip removal and wear resistance possible.
Silmax, for this HM Alu line has chosen the latest TiAlN Coating that has been developed together with Balzers.
