Description
Merkel Chevron Seal set ES/ESV which is a multi-part seal set for sealing piston rods, with one thrust ring, at least three V-rings and one support ring. It is a proven sealing system for piston rods, plungers, spindles and slowly rotating shafts. The Chevron seal sets are composed of a pressure ring, chevron seals and a back up ring. Depending on the pressure and temperature levels during an operation, the number of Chevron seals to be used can be determined. Merkel Chevron Seal provides resistance against chemical, high temperature, pressure, wear and extrusion.
