A classic compressor-cooling circuit transferring its energy to a water or waterglycol circuit is at the core of the system. The refrigerant employed changes during its circulation from a gaseous- to a liquid state and back again, getting rid of its heat energy to air- or water-cooled condensers. We break away from this basic technology with the larger units of the SKA range, by employing a double-pump system. In this case, the heat transfer to the internal chilled circuit is carried out separately from the external consumer circuit. The benefit of this procedure: The external pump capacity can be varied and thus matched to the actual requirements, without adversely influencing the internal chilling performance.
The SKA range also meets the highest safety specifications. It goes without saying, that our units pass the European pressure-vessel guidelines for cooling circuits.
