The magnets offered by Sintex are isotropic made by pressing neodynium, iron, boron powder mixed with a polymer binder. The characteristics of the magnets from Sintex are high mechanical strength, and thus good magnetic properties.
Thin-walled ring shaped magnets can be made with no chipping of the edges. Height to diameter ratios of more than 2:1 even with a thin wall thickness is possible by our process.
Surface protection:
In specific applications a surface coating or treatment can be necessary to protect the magnet against the environment, e.g. water or excessive humidity. Sintex offers different possibilities regarding surface protection and further information on these may be requested from Sintex.
