Sintex

Sintex a/s supplies sintered and polymer-bonded permanent magnets. These can be customised magnets developed and manufactured on the basis of a customer's drawing / sketch or they can be magnets from our standard range.

Sintex a/s specialises in the following magnet types:
* Polymer-bonded neodymium magnets (NdFeB)
* Sintered neodymium magnets (NdFeB)
* Sintered samarium cobalt magnets (SmCo)
* Sintered and polymer-bonded ferrite magnets (SrFe & BaFe)

Magnet powder, consisting of rare earths, iron and boron, is mixed with binder and pressed into the required geometry. After hardening, the magnets are magnetised. The optimised manufacturing process ensures a number of advantages:

- The component is completely pressed in a single operation
- High mechanical strength

- 4-6 times stronger than traditional magnets

- Min. 10 years' service life at up to 120 °C
