Combined with a motor controlled by a PLC via an RS485 interface, it ensures the following functions:
* Start/Stop of the drum
* selection of the direction of rotation
* control of the speed and rated torque, steady state speed system depending on the nominal load
* handling of the acceleration and deceleration slopes
* dynamic motor braking
* protection against motor overload by thermistor and current limiter (25A)
* delivery of error signals in case of malfunction
* speed settings to 1%
* acceleration and deceleration is adjustable by integrated potentiometers (optional)
